I have seen ridiculously talented people stay stuck due to self-imposed limits.
Those who succeeded were not smarter than those who were stuck. Those who were stuck were not lazy, unskilled or unmotivated. The difference between the two? A willingness to own one's value, get a bit uncomfortable, and embrace a new perspective. This is how we declutter our path to career success. This, my friend, is how we STRUT.
Learning to STRUT has nothing to do with arrogance, false praise, or inflated egos. In fact, those are additional pieces of clutter! So what is it? It's learning to become a confident career manager. It's daring to take ownership. It's stepping up to be a leader, regardless of title. It's about respecting who we are, what we care about, and what we REALLY need to feel satisfied with our work and lives.
You have value, you have worth, you have a special magic that is uniquely you. It's always been there, darlin'. I'm just gonna hold up the mirror and shine a light on it until you see it. Let's get to work...
